Pregnancy Weight Control
Congratulations on your awesome privilege and opportunity you have to bring a precious new life into being. My prayer for you is that you have a stress free pregnancy and a relatively easy time giving birth. Little ones can bring such joy and happiness to a family.
I trust that you have been in consultation with your family's health care provider and are receiving the personal medical attention, diagnosis and treatment you and your new baby need. Trying to control weight during a pregnancy presents a little different challenge for each woman. Obviously, no two bodies are exactly alike so some woman gain very little weight and within days after giving birth don't even look like they just had a baby. Some women gain weight all over while others just put on some pounds in certain areas on their body i.e., legs, arms, face etc,.
There are also mental pressures to deal with during your pregnancy as some insensitive people (or some would call dumb people) can't resist the urge to let you know how big you have gotten. Your mind can translate those comments to mean "look how fat I'm getting" or "I look terrible". You don't always assume they are just talking about your belly. Controlling your weight gain during your pregnancy will constantly be on your mind.
You and your baby need to feel good during this time and not frustrated or depressed about your pregnancy. Controlling your stress and weight is good for you and your little darling who is counting on you. I'm sure you won't let your baby down.
So what I hope you can do is have a balanced approach to controlling your weight gain during your pregnancy and be ready to bounce back right after your baby is born (after a few days of rest and relaxation) and feel and look great. It's important to have a balanced plan where you aren't stressing from week to week about how many pounds you gained or how you look. You should take control and not be controlled by your weight gain.
I came across a pretty good but inexpensive resource that you might find useful to help you during and after your baby is born. It's called "Pregnancy Without Pounds". It's a program that has helped thousands of women around the world minimize their weight gain and have a more enjoyable pregnancy, without the stresses associated with trying to control their weight. You might find that it's a program you can use. The Author of the book is Michelle Moss and she is a Health and Nutrition Coach and she has a Masters Degree in holistic nutrition, a Kinesiology Diploma, Psychology Degree and she has a Personal Training Certificate. Oh, I forgot to mention the most important thing - she is also a mom. I would say she is somewhat qualified to help women during their pregnancy to control their weight.
Michelle also offers a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee if you aren't happy with the program.
With the program you will receive:
-
The Pregnancy Without Pounds' Kit containing the Pregnancy Without Pounds - eBook
-
The Exercise Manual
-
The Exercise Journal
-
The Weight Gain Chart Manager
-
Access to the Pregnancy Without Pounds Forum where you can chat with other pregnant moms
You can take control of your pregnancy weight now by clicking on either one of the pictures below. Again, it's a 60 day money back guarantee and costs less than a couple of Starbucks drinks.
